About Spencer
I'm a father of two great children, River and Greer, who attend Montrose Elementary in the 4th grade and kindergarten respectively. My wife Ashley and I have been married for over a decade and now are living in our second Bexley home; multigenerational, after we expanded a few years back for my mother-in-law, Lea, to join us.
Education & Work
Law - I'm currently an attorney focusing on criminal law and a graduate of George Washington University. While currently in private practice, I've spent over a decade working as a public defender to make sure that everyone has the opportunity to have their story told.
Data Analytics - In my effort to never stop learning, I also hold a certificate from Cornell University in Business Analytics. This translates to a proclivity to seek and track data-driven metrics in understanding our world.
Accounting - Having completed a degree in accounting, I bring a keen eye for fiscal oversight and efficiency.
Social Work - Previously I was a social worker with Lutheran Social Services and helped families transition from homelessness to stable housing. People-centered service has always been my passion.

My family are also longstanding Members at the JCC, where both my children attended preschool. I can often be found cycling around our great city or working out at the JCC. Ask me about my plans for dancing sometime. Let's just say that I love learning new things and taking on new challenges.
